My career has taken me from telecommunications systems in the U.S. Air Force to broadcast, satellite and communications projects across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the United States.
Along the way, I’ve worked on everything from satellite earth stations and broadcast infrastructure to wireless networks and customer technology solutions. My role has often been the same: understand what needs to happen, bring the right people and technology together and make sure the solution actually works.

Much of that work has happened far from a traditional office, at customer sites where systems had to be installed, commissioned, upgraded or kept running.

That means working comfortably with engineers, customers, vendors and management, translating between technical requirements and business needs and staying involved until the job is done.

Zuku DTH Platform | East Africa

THE BUILD

End-to-End DTH Platform

Designed and delivered a complete DTH broadcast platform, including a 9.3m satellite earth station, uplink infrastructure and integrated broadcast headend.

THE RESULT

Built for Reliability

Achieved 99.9%+ uptime over three years, including a satellite migration completed without service interruption. Later designed and deployed the platform’s Kratos monitoring and control system.

BAHRAIN TV

Satellite Uplink Modernization

Modernized an aging satellite uplink while maintaining broadcast operations. Replaced the RF transmission chain, redundancy systems, waveguide infrastructure and receive feeds.

Completed the critical work in approximately 38 hours within a 48-hour maintenance window.

AKASH DTH | BANGLADESH

Satellite Platform Migration

Repurposed an existing BSS uplink for Ku-band operation to support migration to the BS-1 satellite. Redesigned the RF path, antenna sector, feed, receive chain and uplink infrastructure..

Engineered and coordinated the migration through installation and commissioning.

PTV4 MINDANAO MEDIA HUB | PHILIPPINES

Broadcast Facility Commissioning

Managed acceptance testing and commissioning for the $875K Mindanao Media Hub project, coordinating technical activities and customer requirements during COVID-era restrictions.

Delivered the project on schedule despite significant logistical and operating constraints.
